"Hey Dad! Why's there a fire extinguisher on your bike?", asked my son.

One secret weapon is our 2009 Bianchi SOK SRAM bike. This 29er is definitely winning the hearts of mountain bikers that give it a chance. Give it a chance as in, more than just a test ride in the parking lot of your LBS. Trail time; half dozen or so rides to learn a new dance with a new partner. In fact most 29ers require just that, some trail time to get used to.
Leaving AL, up to Knoxville then over to NC with some morning Mojo!
Single speed, aluminum, bomb proof cogs.
As the conversations were flowing regarding 29ers, Marshall convinced me to go tubeless on my SOK SRAM. With his recommendations I purchased a new front tire- WTB Weirwolf LT and had him convert it to tubeless. Cleverly using a modified 24in presta valve tube as a rim strip and 3 scoops of Stan's Sealant, my front tire was transformed to tubeless. (I did the rear once I got home from the trip.)
Monday I'm departing on a road trip that I've been waiting for 2 months to kick off. Shown here, packing up the car from my starting point of Surf City, NC.
